AVNA, Inc. Receives Supplier Excellence Award from Medtronic

AVNA was presented with the 2018 Medtronic Supplier Excellence Award at a recent conference in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Pictured Marie K. AVNA, Inc., a leading engineering and contract manufacturing company, is proud to announce it has received a 2018 Supplier Excellence Award from Medtronic. AVNA is one of only thirteen companies from Medtronic’s supply base of approximately 48,000 to receive the award.

AVNA supplies precision components to Medtronic’s Minimally Invasive Therapies Group (MITG), Restorative Therapies Group (RTG), and Cardiac and Vascular Group (CVG), and has developed specialized processes to meet the Company’s demanding requirements. Medtronic and AVNA regularly collaborate on part design for manufacturability, component manufacturing and automation, precision assembly and supply chain management, working to ensure component quality, speed to market and cost efficiencies. To support their work, AVNA continually invests in new technologies for stamping, machining, laser processing, laser tube cutting and plastic over-molding in its U.S. and Costa Rica facilities.
