Chamber of Commerce Recognizes Okay’s Manufacturing Innovation and Growth
Okay Industries’ strategy of continuous evolution to meet changing customer needs with quality manufacturing earned the company the 2014 Beehive Business and Industry Award from the New Britain-Berlin Chamber of Commerce. This prestigious award recognizes companies that employ innovation and ingenuity to meet customer needs.
Chamber President Tim Stewart said Okay shows how “diversifying your manufacturing product lines will allow your business to thrive over the long haul.”
Company Chairman Greg Howey and President Jason Howey confirmed their commitment to U.S. and global manufacturing, citing their recent Connecticut expansion. “We’ve been proud to maintain and grow a highly skilled Connecticut-based manufacturing team since 1911,” Jason Howey said. “And, we certainly plan on being around for the next 100 years.”
